The usual boom night, a few different kinds of gigs and a weekend in Liverpool and week in Centre Parcs :) A lovely month, but expensive.

Also either my upstairs monitor, cable or PC has broke so I can’t get my proper lists off. But I think they went something like this:-

Best CD of recent times purchased
Jackyl - When Moonshine and Dynamite Collide
Jorn – Dio
Pain of Salvation - Road Salt One - 7th from the Swedish progressive metal band.
Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers – Mojo – 12th album from Tom & the gang
Robert Plant - Band Of Joy
Skunk Anansie – Wonderlustre 2010

Has to be a shared win between the Swedish progressive Pain of Salvation - Road Salt One - not as metal as other releases, more chilled out with hints of tortured beauty. Different but that’s why I like it.
Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers – Mojo – Their 12th album and the most blues sounding in a long time. Definitely a grower as I wasn’t sure at first but now I love it.

Best CD from ages past purchased
Pride Of Lions - Pride Of Lions 2003
Pride Of Lions - The Destiny Stone 2004
Pride Of Lions - Live in Belgium 2006

Gig of the Month
Down to earth Liverpudlian John Bishop as I had seen the Lee Mack gig last year.

Skunk Anansie sounded like they had never ben away. Brilliant.

The World Netball Series was the best sporting event of the month (as me playing Badminton doesn’t count ;p)

Cinema film of the Month
Saw 3D was actually quite enjoyable and a good end to the series.

Film on TV
Long Weekend
Halloween 2
The Time Travellers Wife - A sci-fi romance, something for everyone. Very well made lovely lovely film.

DVD watched
Low budget British captive torture horrorMum & Dad

Top purchase
I bought a new super doper winter coat, a fluffly winter hat and a (*cough* Jeff Banks *cough*) Leather Jacket which is like no leather(ish) jacket I’ve worn before (ie almost fashionable)

December has 18 days at work, 4 gigs and Crimbo and New York
