The 2 year anniversary of me and my lovely went by with not too much celebration as both K & I have been working a lot. But we did still get in some nice time together with our parents and her friend staying over.
A few good gigs too :)

Best CD of recent times purchased
Coheed And Cambria – Year of The Black Rainbow
Evergrey – Glorious Collision
Helloween - 7 Sinners
Spock’s Beard – X
Whitesnake - Forevermore

The latest Whitesnake still has enjoyable moments but I preferred Spock’s Beard – X because I’m feeling proggy this month.

Best CD from ages past purchased
Evergrey – Torn (2008) is decent enough but I quite like the country rock of Kevin Costner – Untold Truths (2008)

Best best of CD purchased
Curved Air - Curved Air: Anthology - Folky prog.

Gig of the Month
Paul Rodgers
Magnum (Wolverhampton)
Magnum (Nottingham)

All brilliant but the splendour of Magnum (Wolverhampton) shines through.

Cinema film of the Month
Yes I finally managed to go. I saw Scre4m. Not fab and I’ve realised some films don’t have the same affect on me now I’ve watched the series of Dexter. I can’t put the reality away, I think that they would be able to prove whodunit more with forensics. But that aside it was still interesting but as interesting as I remember the others to be.

Film on TV
27 Dresses
Confessions Of A Shopaholic
American pie: The Book Of Love
Men Who Stare At Goats - Brilliant dry humour and a great tale. Good stuff from Clooney & McGregor.

DVD watched
What are they?

Book read
I have been getting through some of the free exerts from other books book I got with my Classic Rock mag.

Top purchase
Panasonic Digital Cordless Answering System (aka a home phone)
Dyson Ball DC24 vacuum cleaner - light weight, manoeuvrable, bagless, brill. I’ve never been this excited about a hoover :)

May has 19 days at work, 2 gigs and a trip to Germany
